Overview

The next class will be a bit different and therefore today’s prep is a bit different. You’ll be peer reviewing the artificial chemistry and/or L-system projects as well as brainstorming encyclopedia topics.

AI Policy

As a reminder, you are not allowed to use genAI to summarize or produce your reading check responses. These checks are for you to engage with the material and start thinking about things before class. It’s okay if you don’t understand everything ahead of time!

Basic Learning Objectives

Before class, you should be able to:

  • Run your AChem and/or L-System project and discuss the code with peers
  • Have several possible encyclopedia topics

Advanced Learning Objectives

After class, you should be able to:

  • Make improvements to your projects based on feedback
  • Submit your proposal for your encyclopedia topic

Reading

There isn’t any new reading, but you should make sure that you have your two assignments functional and easily opened and have reviewed the Encyclopedia assignment.

Checks

Submit answers to the following on Moodle:

  • What are some of the topics that you are interested in for the encyclopedia assignment?
  • What is one aspect of your LSystem or AChem assignment that you are proud of and want to show to a peer?
  • What is one aspect of your LSystem or AChem assignment that is troublesome and you’d like help with?
